Tipps

• The adhesive function of the MAGNETOLINK can be reduced when applied to freshly painted surfaces and/or untreated wood as well as porous or damp surfaces such as plaster.
• The adhesive function of the MAGNETOLINK can be reduced when applied to ceilings that several layers of paint.
• The specially formulated glue used by MAGNETOLINK has been designed to stick to rough or uneven surfaces. The smoke detectors should however, not be installed over the heads of beds.
• The MAGNETOLINK should not be used on Styrofoam, silicon or Teflon surfaces.
• The MAGNETOLINK application system is not recommended for smoke detectors with a radius under 3 inches (or 8 cm).
• Do not pull directly down on the smoke detector when removing it from the ceiling. Instead slide the smoke detector to one side to allow for optimal removal.
• Should you need to replace the smoke detector with a new unit. The base of the old smoke detector can be re-used, when applied to a smoke detector of the same model. When installing a new smoke detector model, you can use the previously installed ceiling plate of the MAGNETOLINK.
• No need to remove the ceiling plate when painting the ceiling.
